Lauriel + Eduardo | Palacete de Cazulas | Wedding in Spain

December 11, 2009  |   3 comments

Well the penultimate wedding of the year is a bit of an epic. Last month Jenny and I travelled to Palacete de Cazulas for the wedding of Lauriel and Eduardo, USA meets Brazil in the mountains of Spain in November. A mixture of Disney magic and Jenny The Spanish Wedding Planner organised an amazing wedding, events started the evening before, with Masquerade Ball and murder mystery, the planning and organising of which was simply amazing, the costumes speak for themselves and added to the drama of the 14th century surroundings made for quite a night. So take a breath and onto the wedding day, again we were blessed with the most amazing weather and a wonderful ceremony conducted by Padre Peter in the chapel on the grounds. After drink and canpaes on the terrace it was back for dinner and lots and lots of dancing!!! A huge thanks to Arami from Elegante Films who flew over from Florida to capture the day, pop over to his website for some clips of the wedding in the future.

Thanks so much guys for letting us share your day with you and hope you enjoy a few favourites of nearly 900 images.

Cydney + Mahryah | Wedding at Palacete de Cazulas | Spain

December 1, 2009  |   3 comments

The end of the year is one of my most favourite times of the year to shoot weddings, everything is cooler, a little greener and the light much less harsh. I am often asked if I have a favourite venue and as a rule I don´t really, that said……… Palacete de Cazulas would probably be one of my all time favourite venues, I don´t like to shoot at the same venues too often as I find it can be creatively stifling so it was great to know that 2 of my last 3 weddings of 2009 were both at Cazulas and even better that they were both organised by the fabulous Jenny. It was also great to show the venue to Jennifer who as ever captured some superb imagery.

Being able to capture and share any wedding day is a real honour and privilege and even more so when it is a small intimate wedding like Cydney and Mahryah, the chapel at Cazulas is a very special place and the ceremony conducted by Andrew Hunter ensured there was not a dry eye on the house ( including mine ). We had a truly fantastic time at your wedding guys and really hope your treasure the images, a few of many many of our favourites below and the slideshow is above.

dawn fullerton: wow, what lovely pictures. it reminds me of my dear friends wedding in ibiza and a lovely ibiza wedding venue a day i will never forget! ( February 8, 2010 5:39 am )

Richard: Love the direction you've taken with your photography. Photojournalism is the hardest discipline of all, especially with weddings but you make it look easy and your imagery is fab. The shot of Mahryah coming down the stairs is my favourite but then I am a sucker for movement in images. Nice work fella. ( December 3, 2009 6:28 am )

Crash Taylor: Love the father and daughter dance shot. Great stuff as usual. ( December 2, 2009 7:37 am )

Kristina + David | Wedding in Ronda.

Finally!! I hear Julie cry

Kristina + David | Wedding in Ronda.
Well here you go, Kristina and David and are a great couple from the US and it was a real treat for Jenni and I to capture the day for them. Ronda is a very special place and is somewhere I wish I could shoot more often. The wedding itself got bumped an hours which for most people was a blessing but for us meant the difference between amazing light and no light, fortunately Kristina and David were up for a short shoot the following evening despite the slightly sore heads. A really big thanks to Kathryn Parr for her lovely work and Joan for making the day run so smoothly, a few of our faves below and enjoy the slideshow above, excited to get started on your album.

Claire + Ronan | Wedding in Nerja

November 10, 2009  |   2 comments

Claire and Ronan´s intimate wedding took place in Nerja at the end of September, rain is not really something we have to contend with and we were oh so lucky, my drive up to Nerja was in torrential rain but the rain pretty much abated when I got to Nerja, inside or outside was still the call until a short time before the ceremony and fortunately the rain stayed away for the whole day ( phew ), the ceremony took place by the sea followed by cocktails and dinner, then it was on to the disco with the Ian Preston always a guaranteed great night entertainment, a huge thanks to Laura from Reviva for meking everything look so gorgeous, and of course all this overseen by the fabulous Jenny, The Spanish Wedding Planner what a great day, thanks guys a real pleasure working with you all.

A few of my faves, and your story above.

Colleene + Daniel | Wedding in Gibraltar

November 5, 2009  |   2 comments

At the end of September we had the great pleasure of capturing the long awaited wedding of Colleene and Daniel, having met them both on many occasions and a pre wedding shoot back in the summer were all really excited about the big day. After driving down to Gibraltar in torrential rain the weather did not look overly promising but amazingly it stayed dry for the wedding and the photo call afterwards, the wedding took place in Gibraltar cathedral followed by a wonderful reception at the San Roque Club. Colleene and Daniel are just back from a marathon honeymoon just in time to enjoy their images, a real pleasure working with you both, please enjoy a few our our faves and the slideshow above.

Crash Taylor: Well done as always! ( November 6, 2009 9:38 am )

Colleene & Daniel: WOW! Just spent the past 2 hours looking through every amazing photo. We are going to have a very difficult time choosing which ones to go in our Wedding Album. You were both great on the day and at the pre-wedding shoot and we were totally surprised at some of the shots taken as we didn't realise that you guys were around! ( November 5, 2009 2:25 pm )
