At the end of October it was time for another fantastic trip to Barcelona. I have been fortunate to work in the amazing city several times this year and having met Monica earlier in the year was really looking forward to this one. It was also Jennifer’s first destination wedding ( I count flying there as destination ). On the arrival day we made a trip over to Bell Reco an amazing location just outside Barcelona, nearly as amazing was the lunch we had with Clare thank-you again. It was then back to get ready to shoot the evening party and also pop by and say hi to Monica and Pedro in their very ( very ) swanky Barcelona apartment ( see prep pics ). It was great to be able to shoot for a few hours the evening before and the stunning Hotel Claris roof top was the perfect place and were very lucky to meet some their fabulous family and guests. The following day it was a case of fingers crossed with the weather but the sun show brightly on the Saturday and it was back to Monica and Pedro´s apartment for some of the prep photos, the ceremony itself took place in the breathtaking grounds of Bell Reco followed by cocktails and dinner. It was a long couple of days with 1000´s of images and an amazing wedding. Thanks so much Monica and Pedro for letting us share the two days with you. Back in October I made the journey to the amazing Alhambra in Granada to join Clara and Mazen for their intimate wedding celebration. Clara, Mazen and families and flown in from the USA and Lebanon to gorgeous weather in Granada. I met up with them at the hotel in Granada and documented a fabulous day wandering the gardens and palaces until the ceremony at the Parador Granada . Clara and Mazen were a fantastic couple to work with and really wanted to capture the feel of the Alhambra as naturally as possible so really hope you enjoy a few of my favourites from the day. Well it seems like only yesterday ( especially after watching the slideshow ) but back in October I made the trip to Barcelona with Jose for the 2 day wedding of Nicole and Paul. Everything about it was pretty fabulous from the wonderful BIG RED gift packs ( Jose and I looked hilarious walking through Barcelona with those I can tell you ) to the rehearsal dinner at Gaig in Barcelona, a fantastic evening of great food and wonderful speeches. As you would expect the next day was also completely different, family and friends made there way out to a wonderful house outside Barcelona for day to remember. After cocktails in the courtyard it was inside for a candle lit ceremony and then a sumptuous dinner in the stables. Every destination wedding is that little bit extra special as I get a chance to get to know some of the guests and family and friends, a big thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome, a big thanks to Tom Soluri Nicole´s stylist and wedding guru and also Clare and her team for making such a wonderful 2 days. Back in October it was the last trip of the year to Finca La Concepcion in Marbella for the wedding of Lorna and Robin. It was as great way to to finish the last local wedding of 2010 at one of my favourite locations with such a great bride and groom and guests. The ceremony and reception all took place in the stunning grounds of the Finca just outside Marbella.

Tres Divos

The Wedding of Alma and John was my 3rd of the year at Hacienda San Jose and like all the others it was very different. This wedding has a bit of everything, from bouncy castles to John learning Sabrage and performing it ( see slideshow ), the amazing vocals of Tres Divos followed by live music from Monkey Tennis ( great band ) and of course some of the people mentioned below. Tres Divos

As some of you may know Dee very kindly took me off to Venice for my birthday. I spent lots of time in Venice whilst working for Princess Cruises but have never spent 4 full days there. Thanks to the generosity of Alfredo and Louisa we were able to stay within a stone throw of the Rialto, we walked for miles every day, drank great coffee, prosecco, visited Burano ( a must visit and not to be confused with Murano ) and only had one “ripoff” Venice dining experience. I have a few hundred more images to go through but hope you enjoy a few of these, more coming eventually!

At the end of September myself and Jennifer made our way to Gibraltar for the second time this year for the great wedding of Susan and Enzo. Susan is from Gibraltar and now lives in Western Australia. All of the preparation took place in the Caleta Hotel followed by a moving ceremony at the Cathedral. After the ceremony we spent some time wandering the streets of Gibraltar. Great working with you guys and hope you enjoy a few of our favourites.

I had the pleasure of meeting Rachel and Paul and family a couple of times prior to the wedding so it really was a shame when the sun didn´t shine all day long! Despite the rather bizarre weather a great time was had by all, great working with you both and really hope you enjoy a few faves and the Click Here. Back in September I made the trip to Ronda one of my favorite areas for weddings. Amy and Pete currently reside in Hong Kong and the day was a fabulous celebration with family and friends from around the world. The large villa on the outskirts of Ronda was the perfect setting for a truly stunning wedding. The ceremony was ( wisely ) not till early evening which made a lovely change. The ceremony took place on the lawn followed but cocktails and canapes by the pool before dinner and speeches under the stars. A wonderful day and a big thanks to Amy´s parents for making me feel so welcome and of course a big thanks to Michael and Laura from Andalucia Weddings for organizing and planning such a memorable day also a big thanks to Natasha for a wonderful service, the band they were awesome as well but also the name escapes me and of course not wedding is complete without a stunning cake a huge thanks to Fi . Lucy and Gareth, can´t say much more than the images will tell you, a very cool couple, great family and guests and a super cool venue to boot. The Marbella club twice in a week was a real treat, all of the prep took place in one of the fabulous apartments in the Marbella Club grounds. The ceremony was conducted in the grounds of the villa by the one and only Lizzie Marriage . Cocktails and canapes were served in the courtyard followed by dinner under the stars and a breathtaking surprise firework display courtesy of lucy´s Dad. After some great speeches it was time to dance till the early hours, thanks so much for letting us document your day guys and really excited to work on a stunning album for you.
