Zaid + Zaina | Finca la Concepcion | Wedding

Well where to begin with this one! This was more of a wedding without some of the normal bits like a ceremony. This was part of Zaid & Zaina’a trilogy of weddings taking place in Europe and the middle east. Finca la Concepcion is a hard venue to beat at the best of times but when you add, several hundred very glamorous guests, a top london DJ,  stage and lighting set up fit for anywhere, and lest we forget, the black swans, the white swans, the hand rolled cigars, the ice cream van, cocktail mixer, chill out zone, photobooth images projected on screens it is a hard act to beat.

These types of weddings ( parties ) are normally consumed with lots of line up photos which lets face it is not everyones cup of tea. It was a real thrill to be asked to document a wedding like this and Zaid was very clear that any posing was to a minimum it is also probably the only wedding I have shot where the bride and groom have not requested any “portrait time”.

The 12 hours went by in a blur, shooting a night time wedding is certainly a challenge and a big thanks to Ruth and Dee, you will find Ruth’s images here with a slightly different logo so take a peek. Can’t thanks all the other vendors enough for all their help on this one, this is probably a wedding planners equivalent of the Olympics and certainly a gold medal for Heather and the team.

Really hope you enjoy the images.

Thanks to:

Heather, Fiesta Sol

Becky Sharpe

Sweet things by Fi

Manny Norte

Maxine for flowers

And all the other great people.
