Cara + Mark | La Virginia | Marbella

I always like to ask couples before each wedding for a few words to describe their day and Cara and Mark certainly hit the mark with a very romantic, laid back, celebration! In hindsight that could have read HOT, romantic, laid back, celebration! It is always a tricky decision for brides to make regarding timing and often timings church schedules dictate that and whilst I would certainly not recommend a 1pm ceremony in August it really was a tremendous celebration with guests from Canada, Ireland to mention just a few.

Well it all began back at Hacienda san Jose and without a doubt  Cara was most certainly the coolest person in the house. Having shot around 300 + weddings I have actually never shot in La Virgina chapel except for a christening many years ago and whilst I wont go into details regarding how hot it was it did provide some lovely if not a little harsh light. I will always tell anyone that some good light and emotion will do me fine and this lovely ceremony conducted by Lizzie Marriage certainly had all of that.

After the ceremony it was a quick dash back to Hacienda san Jose to enjoy the cocktails and canapes from the team at Fiesta Sol before dinner in the gardens followed by some lovely speeches. As the sun set it was time for the very talented Mr Ian Preston to do his thing I you can be pretty sure these guys partied into the night.
