Fun, elegant, memorable were the 3 words Sairina used to describe her wedding and I would say that is a very accurate description of her gorgeous wedding in Benahavis. I used to live in Benahavis and spent lots of timing walking the beautiful countryside so it was great to get the chance to go back and visit Casa del Rio a simple stunning venue nestled in the woods near the reservoir.
Sairina and the girls all got ready in the villa with the help of the very talented Georgina whilst James and the boys got ready on the terrace overlooking the lawn as guests arrived with the wonderful colours that are always such a highlight of Indian weddings.
Of course being an Indian wedding in Spain everything ran a little late but it wasn’t long before the banging of drums filled the air and we were all treated the wonderful traditions that make up any Indian wedding ceremony. After a relatively short ceremony ( 2 hours ) guests enjoyed champagne in the afternoon Andalusian sunshine before being treated to heartwarming speeches under the stars before dancing the night away!
Thanks so much for allowing me to document you day and all the very best of the future.
