Ben + Hazel | Marbella & La Cabane Wedding

The start of June is always a great time of year for a wedding in Spain, and Ben and Hazel made the most of it by having what I call a “best of both worlds” wedding, it ticks the boxes you didn’t even know you had to tick! I won’t go on, but having your ceremony in the Old town in Marbella is pretty epic and then following that up with your reception and party at La Cabane is a perfect way to celebrate your day.

A short trip to Marbs, and after a lovely ceremony in Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación before it was time for drinks in the square. Like most couples I work with, Ben and Hazel didn’t want to spend long on portraits so a quick five minutes in the old town and it was time to move on to the next part of this wedding adventure.

This was the first of a few weddings at La Cabane this year, I generally don’t like going to the same venue too often, but if you have to go anyway a few times in a year this is the place to come. Guests were treated to cocktails and canapés whilst taking in the amazing views that La Cabane has to offer, no other venue locally has the beachfront that this place has.

I always love to hear the “gasps” from guests after they walk from the cocktail area to the pool dining area, the La Cabana “reveal” is an entrance you can never tire of. After some fine dining and speeches, it was time for everyone to the dance the night away!

Thanks for much for inviting me to document your day, just a few of my favourites here and really hope you enjoy the full galleries, a pleasure working with you.

J.
