I’ve traveled the whole world with my couples

Thanks so much for taking the time to take a look at my work, I hope your enjoyed some of my photography and wedding films.

In order to find out a little more about me I have added a recent interview by Confetti Magasine to give you a better idea of what makes me tick.

Thanks,

Jeremy

1. What sparked your interest in photography?

My Dad was a solicitor in Norwich, My Mum, she worked as a photographer for Vogue, and I have been taking pictures since I was very young. I won my first photo competition when I was 12 and haven’t really looked back.

2. Why did you decide to specialise in wedding photography and video?

Being a wedding photographer and videographer is much more than just taking pictures , many of the other skills I have learned in life are a good fit, much of this also applies to videography.

I enjoy them both equally, but both are very different, but right place right time is really a skill you develop over time.

3. Describe your style and approach?

I like to work without interrupting the flow of the wedding, I wont stop anything or anyone other than a few moments for portraits and any pre arranged family photos, I like to think my work as documentary with a creative touch. Light and composition and moments of real emotion are very important to my work.

4. How do you remain unobtrusive during the wedding day?

Practise, knowing where to be before you need to be there and making sure your ready when you are there.

5. What do you love about your job?

The people first and foremost, being able to travel is also a great bonus.

6. How do you cope when the weather isn’t ideal?

The only non ideal weather I usually experience is the heat, being patient and calm generally help in all situations.

7. What do you enjoy about living and working in on the Coast?

The weather and outdoor lifestyle, I love to paddle board, and play golf (alot of golf) whenever I can, also supporting Norwich City, which is not relevant but non the less important.

8. A tip or two for couples who are looking for their perfect wedding photographer or videographer?

Communicate with your photographer, they will know more than anyone else involved in your wedding about photography or video, talk to them especially about anything visual.

9. One thing you’d like every bride and groom to know before their wedding?

I can think of many, this is a bit of a cliche but after all the planning, all the expense, the great majority of your wedding day will not be there the next day, if you want to recall your day the best way you can then hire someone who can do that for you, and you feel comfortable with, take advise, but remember not everyone will have the same tastes as you, that includes your wedding planner, parents ands friends.

10. Favourite image or films you’ve taken lately?

I have alot of faves from every wedding, anything that will remind my couples of a moment and take them back to how they felt at that time in years to come will be a favourite.

11. Has photographing or filming weddings changed the way you see life? If so, how?

Good question, over 20 years, I like to think I am always evolving, my style is quite different, so I suppose I always look at life a bit differently, Events in my life have changed the way I see life and those experiences help me to document moments that I know my clients will cherish forever, they may not know it yet, but they will forever.
