Crystal + Roy | Mijas Pueblo Wedding

I always wondered what the Hacienda Puerta Del Sol, Mijas looked like inside, and back in August I got the chance to find out courtesy of the charming Crystal and Roy. When is come to churches in amazing locations then very few come closer than the Mijas Church, the beautiful pueblo nestled below the Mijas mountains with its white washed walls is a truly spectacular setting and I was very excited that Crystal and Roy had invited me to document there day.

All the boys and got girls got ready at the Hacienda before the boys made their way to the church and I joined the girls and made my way up in the coolest of convertible sports-cars. Father Francisco was on fine form and conducted a beautiful ceremony with the help of Kate the fabulous wedding planner.

One of the best bits about getting married in Mijas church has the be the views of the down to the Med, guests enjoyed drinks at the bar whilst soaking up the atmosphere and truly epic views. I have shot over 300 weddings and the main reason I love them is that everytime something new happens, I have seen some sites, but the bride driving her own wedding car down the hill in Mijas is definitely one that will stick with me for a while.

After a change of drivers……,everyone made there way back to the hotel to enjoy more beautiful views whilst sipping on cocktails and canapés. The wedding banquet room looked truly spectacular and after a few speeches and lovely dinner it was party time!

A huge thanks to Crystal and Roy for having me along to document your day, loved every minute of it and really hope you enjoy your images. Big thanks to Kate and everyone else who helped make it such a special day.
