Puente Romano Wedding | Lorna + Michael

I first met Lorna and her Dad John on a roasting hot day in August last year and we had a great chat about the wedding. Lorna´s Dad is no ordinary Dad when it comes to style. Together with Tara and the team at the Puente Romano all made for the perfect ingredients for an amazing wedding day. Lorna´s Dad John styled the entire event and he nailed it.

First week in June is usually very hot so we were actually fortune to have a little cloud cover which meant the temprature was perfect and the light, (yes its all about the light) not to mention the beach was empty – lets face it, nobody needs speedo clad, uninvited wedding guests so the cloud cover kept them all away.

All the wedding preparation took place in the stunning Puente Romano with the very talented Lyndsey Cavanagh. Golf buggies ferried the beautiful wedding party to the beach ceremony, conducted by the always humourous Padre Peter, accompanied by some beautiful singing by family friends.

Cocktails and canapes on the beach promenade was followed by a truly amazing dinner (thank-you Tara!) and some really touching speehes. A hilarious impromptu performance by the bridesmaids was followed by dancing to the cool tunes of DJ Tristan before everyone made their way to Suites Nightclub for a perfect end to a perfect wedding day.

Thanks so much for inviting me to document your day guys. I really hope you enjoy just a few of my favourites from your incredible wedding day.

All the best,

Jeremy
